In 2018, we created Beauty Boss, a global networking initiative to empower women in plastic surgery by sharing strengths & discussing challenges. It is a session for women to talk and share about their career, family, professional development, and self-improvement. Our goal with Beauty Boss is to build a community of women who support each other in fulfilling their professional and personal goals.

We have had seven Beauty Boss sessions in our international medical and commercial events with the participation of different female experts from countries like the United States, Colombia, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, among others.

In 2019, we extended the scope of this initiative and conducted two special Beauty Boss sessions for the female employees at our company headquarters. In the first session, participants learned about the initiative and helped us create the agenda and discussion topics. For the second session, two colleagues shared their stories about the challenges they had to overcome to become the professionals and women they are today.
