Born in Costa Rica and raised by fearless women around the world, Motiva® is all about combining extensive research with stringent safety testing and quality cutting-edge technologies to bring you the next-generation breast implant. Promoting versatility, safety and innovation, Motiva Implants® are perfect for the modern woman looking for breast augmentation to meet her individual needs. However, as with all greatness, comes imitation and although we hold proprietary rights to our unique features, as with all luxury brands, comes the risk of counterfeit products. So how do you know you are getting the real deal? Through authentication!

Authentication

Nowadays, all breast implants are imprinted with a unique serial number, which also holds true for Motiva Implants® . However, as a testimony to our commitment to women’s health, we wanted to further increase the safety of our implants. Recognizing the risks associated with counterfeit products, we have advanced the authentication process with our unparalleled concept known as Qid® Safety Technology.

Get the Qid®

The Qid® is an optional battery-free radio frequency identification device (FRID), which is just fancy talk to indicate that the Qid® is like your breast implants’ birth certificate and digital passport, if you want it. It is a little micro transponder technology, which is secured inside your implant, and is exclusive to Motiva®. This impressive piece of tech not only confirms the authenticity of your implants, but also allows for instant retrieval of your implant serial number, which can be used by your surgeon to access further information regarding your implant and surgery, in the event of a product recall or the need for an implant exchange. And to top it all off, we have also created the unique Qid® Reader, which is the propriety hand-held reader your surgeon may use to scan the implant information from outside your body, without the need for surgical intervention!

Now for the golden question: is it safe inside my implant?

Yes, the Qid® is FDA-cleared and safe inside the body! It’s also cleared to use with imaging devices such as airport scanners and breast imaging systems such as MRI scans. Just let your radiographer know you have breast implants with a micro transponder, so he or she can adjust the scanning technique to ensure a clear image of your breasts.

When consulting about Motiva with your surgeon, make sure to ask about the implants with Qid®.
